The first PGA Tour professional to use the RocketBladez Tour irons is now also the first player to win with them in his bag. TaylorMade Tour Staff professional Sean O’Hair, teamed with Champions Tour Kenny Perry in the Franklin Templeton Shootout, won for the first time with the new irons in his bag on Sunday. O’Hair and Perry combined to finish 31-under par, including a final-round 60 in a scramble format, to take home the win in an exciting off-season exhibition.

You’ll recall that O’Hair first played the RocketBladez Tour irons in a prototype form at the JT Shriners Children’s Hospital Open in Las Vegas, putting a model with camouflage badging in his bag to conceal the final cosmetics of the product until they officially launched on October 23rd.

In just two months playing the irons, O’Hair has been incredibly pleased with the performance, talking at length about how they have improved his game and how much more comfortable he is with the new set in his bag. Just last week, prior to competition at the Shark Shootout, O’Hair spent time with some contest winners from a leading golf community site, GolfWRX.com, talking about the RocketBladez Tour irons.
