PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. — One year after TaylorMade Golf launched the “Driver Love” campaign at the Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club – memorably putting hearts and the hashtag #DRIVERLOVE on the sides of players hats and headcovers to celebrate the launch of R11S – we’re back in Pacific Palisades for what promises to be another fun, exciting and memorable week for our PGA Tour Staff professionals. The R1 driver campaign, titled “Make it YOUR1,” highlights every golfer’s advantages in tuning our most adjustable driver ever (168 settings total) and brings to life the settings that make our professionals’ drivers unique to their swing and their game.

That said, this week we are providing our PGA Tour Staff professionals with special edition YOUR1 gear – including hats, bags, headcovers and adidas Golf and Ashworth Golf apparel, to be worn Friday – to bring to life the “Make it YOUR1” campaign and recognize the dominance of the No. 1 driver model on the PGA Tour. From player headwear to apparel and everywhere in between, including bag panels, where every PGA Tour Staffer who plays R1 will have their settings crested on their bag this week, the message to “Make it YOUR1” will be loud and clear this weekend.

The inspiration for the special edition YOUR1 gear draws upon the unique design of the R1 driver and incorporates the distinct color scheme and striping in every element. The front of the hats are adorned with the “YOUR1” logo while the side paneling features an inspirational nod to the crown graphics on the R1 driver, while the headcover and bag help to capture the message that you’ve only fully maximized the performance capabilities of the driver if you’ve been tuned to your unique swing and settings. The R1 driver has already won four times on Tour worldwide in 2013, including twice on the PGA Tour.
