HOUSTON — This week, at the PGA Tour’s Shell Houston Open, TaylorMade Golf gave its Tour Staff professionals a first look at the new Spider Blade putter, a high-MOI style blade putter that features a 130-gram counterbalanced grip designed to promote maximum stability and performance. Available June 1, for $199, Spider Blade made its debut in lengths of 35, 36, 37 and 38 inches on the putting green at Redstone, offering players a variety of options in the new model.
Like all Ghost Tour putters, Spider Blade features a black True Roll insert and a white leading edge to help improve and and promote consistent alignment. The multi-material putter will be available at retail in two models – Spider Blade 12 (L-Neck) and Spider Blade 32 (Short Slant) – and is TaylorMade’s most stable blade putter ever.
