CARLSBAD, Calif. – TaylorMade Golf Tour Staff professional Ken Duke made his first career trip to the winner’s circle Sunday after defeating adidas Golf Tour Staff professional Chris Stroud in a two-hole playoff at the Travelers Championship. Duke, who won in his 186th career start on Tour, became the oldest first-time winner on the PGA TOUR since 1995.
Duke, playing with a bag made up of TaylorMade Golf metalwoods, used the RBZ Stage 2 Driver, 3-wood and 5-wood en route to his victory at TPC River Highlands. With his dramatic win, Duke moves from 95th to 20th in the official FedExCup standings.
TaylorMade drivers have now been used in 31 worldwide victories in 2013, eight of those coming on the PGA TOUR.
